Since there is a coin shortage in the U.S.

A question by Alamite92 :  now will cashiers not mind if I pay for everything in only coins??

“Even with the shortage, most cashiers wouldn’t like it because it’s a hassle, unless it’s just a few dollars’ worth..”

“Part of the reason there is a shortage is that stores are not accepting cash.  “Cash” means coins as well.  So, what you’re asking doesn’t really make sense.”
